The initiative, undertaken by Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) following a July incident in which a pilot was detained in Indonesia for possessing drugs, raises questions about the effectiveness of such measures.

A total of 100% of operationally active pilots were screened and cleared, providing reassurance that the industry's safety protocols are robust.
